Location:

The position will be housed in the Agronomy Department, LSU, Baton Rouge, LA. Research will be conducted on campus and at locations across South Louisiana as needed. Research will be supervised by Drs. Brad Venuto and Steve Harrison (Dept of Agronomy) and Dr. Marc Alan Cohn (Dept Plant Pathology & Crop Physiology)

Research

Primary research emphasis will be placed on mechanisms of seed dormancy and basic seed physiology of Spartina alterniflora, smooth cordgrass.

Stipend

$12,500 (M.S.) to $13,500 (Ph.D.)

Date Available

January 1, 2000 or until a suitable candidate is identified.
