Disease rating code: HR = High Resistance (50% or more of plants resistant), R = Resistance (31-50% resistant), MR = Moderate resistance (15-30% resistant), LR = low resistance (6-14% resistant), and S = susceptible resistance (0-5% resistant).

Fall dormancy ratings, 1-5, with 1 = earliest fall dormancy, 5 = last to go dormant in the fall. Fall dormancy ratings may be related to winter hardiness, though some researchers disagree. Ratings of 2, 3, or 4 should have adequate winter hardiness for New York; however, farmers in Northern New York may wish to choose varieties with ratings of 2 or 3.
