FIGURE 1: PASTURE GROWTH RATE OVER TIME
During both years of the study, the pastures were managed with 12 paddock rotational grazing systems, soil fertility was maintained to soil test, and 50 % of the paddocks in each treatment received 50 lb/acre of Nitrogen. Of the paddocks receiving Nitrogen, 50% were fertilized during the 2nd week of April and the remaining 50% were fertilized during the 1st week of August.
