T. L. Setter and O. Vatamaniuk.
A study of the responses of plants to environmental stresses, including chilling, freezing, high temperature, salinity, drought, hypoxia, and toxic elements. Emphasis is on identifying potential targets for genetic improvement of crops and their management by gaining an understanding of the physiological and biochemical basis of injury, and plant resistance mechanisms at the whole-plant, cellular, and molecular levels.
