Thesis Project : Biointensive Agriculture in Kenya: From Food Dearth to Abundance.

My research will focus on optimal land preparation methods and vegetable crop intensification and diversification strategies for increased yields and nutrition for resource-poor farmers in Kenya. I will compare biointensive agricultural practices and their effects on crop yields and soil/plant nutrient stocks vis-à-vis those of conventional agriculture.
