The
ASB consortium proposes
to undertake the following
five types of activities
over the next four
years:

Develop
methods that integrate
biophysical and
socioeconomic issues
of land-use systems
at the landscape
scale.

Predict
the impact of adoption
of 'best bet' options
at the landscape
scale
-
Policy
and institutional
reform analyses
-
Include
and test additional
promising 'best
bet' land uses
-
Increase
the domain of extrapolation
of the ASB work
by intensifying
work in Peru and
Thailand.
The activities will
take place simultaneously
at the benchmark sites.
