Proposed activities for Phase III

The ASB consortium proposes to undertake the following five types of activities over the next four years:

  1. Develop methods that integrate biophysical and socioeconomic issues of land-use systems at the landscape scale.
  2. Predict the impact of adoption of 'best bet' options at the landscape scale
  3. Policy and institutional reform analyses
  4. Include and test additional promising 'best bet' land uses
  5. Increase the domain of extrapolation of the ASB work by intensifying work in Peru and Thailand.

The activities will take place simultaneously at the benchmark sites.
